What does it mean to be happy? This question might not be easy to answer. In fact, happiness is hard to explain. But one thing is for sure true, that we know happiness when we feel it. Happiness can add effects and benefits, this includes us becoming more compassionate and feeling healthier both emotionally and physically. We are becoming more creative, witty, energetic and fun to be with and it will make us more financially successful.
Happiness tells us something inside when we’re feeling happy. Numerous studies show that happy persons are more successful than those who are just on a normal state. Results also show that happiness is always associated with and has numerous successful outcomes.
Happiness is a state of mind that has less to do with changing external circumstances and has more to do with your inner self. Pursuing happiness is a mental effort, self actualization is achieved through realization. The ups and downs in our life makes us realize the importance of happiness and giving us strength to face and solve our problems.

The success of a person does have to do with happiness or just being positive all the time. People who are happy and in a positive mood often start the conversation to others, which is important in social relations. They are interested in leisure activities like having a party; go on vacation and eating out. Successful people are more likely to resolve conflicts effectively than those who are not happy. When they are in a good mood, they likely reach out to others and lend a helping hand, may it be either be in money, or time.
Happiness can also lead to good health, and good health leads to success. Because, successful people has felt less pain and having a positive attitude can help the circulation of blood from their system. It regulates the body as well as the mental state of our body. Creativity is one of the characteristics of a successful person, and because of being happy, people are more likely to have developed a creative mind and put it on a project.
With good mood, people gain confidence on their own abilities and finish the task at a much lesser time and give a little effort only. They can even perform a complex task better than those who are unhappy. So you must remember, that being happy is not just about your feelings. But it can also affect anything around you. With your good mood and positive attitude, you can do whatever you want to do without worrying, having a stressful day, doing hard work without less outcome and also fatigue after work.
Always remember that to feel happy is a natural state. We are all programmed to feel happy like other normal people. By getting rid of negative thoughts, self doubts, rationalizing problems and seeing them as challenges that we can overcome. We get rid of the feelings like depression, fear, worry, boredom, grief and dissatisfaction. By getting rid of those feelings we are left with happiness, contentment and peace of mind.
